Wah liao!!! Sometimes huh, really lang suay chi jiao bun bian kuay siah!!! I actually had an accident in my car! Whats worse is that I go langgar someones ass siah!!! Pua!!!
So here I am on my way to work. Get up early because I wanna get to work early mah... Then???
Then I go and kiss someone's backside lah!!! Kan ni na!!! That sure woke me up fast man! I couldn't believe it. I drive so long accident free and now this happens. I'm generally a very safe driver but for once someone got the better of me.
So??? how this happen??? Very simple... let me explain...
We stopped at a traffic light. I was the second car at the lights and there was a Acura TL in front of me. No problems, all looks good and the light turns green. The TL moves off and I follow loh... Then skali the car in front of me jam brake! WTF??? So I jam also loh... then person behind me jam also loh... Problem is I jam and I langgar... Good thing is, the car behind me brakes better so never langgar... If not leh I siao diao loh...
I get out of my car and apologize to the car behind while pointing to the car in front. While waiting for the driver in front to step out, the car behind drives by and scolds the bugger for me... hee hee... I was actually a bit happy about that and start thinking what I was going to curse about... Skali I see this old man stepping out of his car... I think to myself... "Ah Peh!!! What you doing driving still!!! Wah liao!!! Take taxi lah!!!"... Of course I never say this to his face lah! Cannot what... must respect the elders right...
So we go and exchange information and guess what! I look at his license and I almost peng shan!!! This Ah peh is born in 1933!!! Jialat siah... as old as my grandma... no wonder take so long to get out of the car... So I ask him if he is hurt. Good thing I only kiss his backside not really ram into him so he was ok. In fact there was only a small scratch on his bumper so I think things are alright. But then I look at my car and I wanna cry. The bumper got hole in it!!! And not at the place where it was hit.
I drive a Mazda Miata and it seems that the cock engineers there decide to build 2 poles that stick out behind the bumper so that when kanna impact it will punch 2 holes in the bumper. Suay siah!!! What to do??? Now no choice but to fix loh!!!
Well thank goodness all seem well for the other party if not insurance for sure go up one. Now all I need to do is forget this lousy day, forget about going to work early and go get the bumper fixed. But first of course must find money lah!!! Wah liao!!! Buay Tahan!!!!

Not my normal style of writting but I just find that I can express my anguish better when I fallback to good old Singlish. For some reason it just suits the mood that I am in after having this car accident. For those that come across this and can't figure out what it means, I'll put a few translations in place.
"lang suay chi jiao bun bian kuay siah": When a person is down a bird that they feed will become a chicken. This is normally a slang used to describe extream bad luck.
"langgar": Knock into.
"Kan ni na": A form of curse that when literally translated means "F**K your mom".
"Skali": The way we Singaporeans pronounce "Suddenly".
"loh/lah": A tag for the end of a sentence to give a meaning of exclamation.
"peng shan": A term similar to meaning "fell over".
"jialat": Literally translates into "eat strength", an expression to mean that some thing sap the energy out of you.
"Siao diao": Literally translates into "crazy now" but means "now you are in for it".
"Ah Peh": Meaning old man.
"Wah liao": A tag used to mean a loud exclamation of surprise.
"Jialat": Meaning to be in trouble.
"Buay tahan": "Cannot take it" or unbearable.
So hopefully this helps those of you who have not heard Singlish before to enjoy this short passage of mine. If you do then drop me a quick note. Heehee...
